Save time and trees by paying your bills online
Do you usually sit down to pay your bills all at once? This process can be made almost completely effortless each month by using your bank’s automatic bill paying service.
There are two options you can use, and in most cases both options are free.
1. Use your bank’s bill paying service and schedule the transaction through them.
2. Use your creditor’s bill paying service and preschedule your payment to come out of any checking account you choose.
Most services offer other convenient features like letting you know when your payment is received via email. You also can often have a reminder set up to email you a couple of days before payment due date is set, so you’re reminded of the deduction. Once you get your new service set up, notify your bank and creditors to stop sending paper statements, go completely paperless. You’ll love not getting all that extra mail. Check with your bank or creditor; all of these and more special services can usually be set up online to save you both time and money.
